Isolgomma and Getzner:
a new partnership under the banner of sustainable acoustic well-being.
The Grazioli family, founder of Isolgomma, a company specialising in acoustic well-being solutions, has entered into a new strategic commercial partnership with Getzner Werkstoffe Holding GmbH, an Austrian company that is a member of an international industrial group and a leader in vibration control in the railway, construction and industrial sectors.
Getzner invested in 50% of Isolgomma’s capital and became a partner together with the Grazioli family, which continues to retain control of the company at management level. Getzner and Isolgomma will continue to operate independently in the markets and are committed to working together as partners.
For more than 50 years, Isolgomma has been offering acoustic insulation and vibration control solutions applicable in a variety of contexts, such as homes, commercial buildings, production facilities and infrastructures.
“Our solutions for acoustic well-being are the fruit of a journey that began in 1972 and has always focused on innovation and on proposing solutions with a reduced environmental impact. At Isolgomma, we have always been pioneers in promoting a circular economy and infrastructure development in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way”, comments the managing director Paolo Grazioli.
Getzner Werkstoffe was founded in 1969 as a subsidiary of the historical company Getzner, Mutter & Cie. It is based in Bürs, Austria. The company, which specialises in vibration control in the railway, construction and industrial sectors, has subsidiaries in Australia, China, France, India, Japan and the USA, as well as three plants in Germany. Its international sales network is complemented by sales partners in more than 40 countries all over the world.
“With this cooperation, Getzner will strengthen one of its main growth pillars, which is sustainability,” stresses the managing director Jürgen Rainalter.
An ideal partnership geared towards internationalisation and sustainability.
The two companies came to an agreement last January: a process that was made easy by the many similarities between Isolgomma and Getzner. The most important of these is undoubtedly the family origins that distinguish them and still influence and determine their decisions. Secondly, the history and, therefore, the experience of the two companies, both founded over 50 years ago.
“From a strategic point of view, this new partnership is certainly reflected in the fact that Getzner’s range of solutions integrates perfectly with Isolgomma’s, guaranteeing and offering the market a comprehensive range and a unique business proposition in the field of acoustic and vibration insulation,” says the general manager Michele Grazioli.
An opportunity for both companies not only to offer a particularly interesting range of solutions, but also to liaise with each other’s distribution network.
“We very much want to expand Isolgomma’s presence on diversified markets, promoting our brand internationally and continuing to draw the attention of the design and construction market to sustainable acoustic well-being,” concludes Michele Grazioli.
